We've always been coffee people — the kind who plan road trips around a good roaster and geek out over tasting notes. When our son was diagnosed with Crohn's disease as a toddler, we got a close-up look at how much kids like him rely on the doctors and specialists who care for them, and it changed what we wanted out of a business. We didn't just want to sell great coffee and tea. We wanted every bag to do something bigger.

That's the whole idea behind Rue's Brews: take something we genuinely love — sourcing, roasting, blending, all of it — and use it to help sick children get the care they need, especially through Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, who has looked after our son along the way. Every cup you brew helps make that possible.
